Breast Augmentation

Its one of the most frequently performed cosmetic surgeries in the world. Its the procedure of choice for small breasts, in which the volume is lost and the shape has changed.Inflable saline implants can be used but Dr. Chehab prefers silicone gel implants wich are placed under the gland or under the muscle. The operation makes the breasts fuller and enhances their shape.
A very small incision is employed in the areola, the armpit or most frequently in the submammary fold .The operation is performed under general anesthesia or local with sedation. Its an outpatient procedure; whereby the patient is discharged the same day after resting in her own suite and feels comfortable to leave. A special bra should be wear for one month. It is an important procedure for enhancing self-esteem.
Its proven that new high cohesive silicone implants are not dangerous and can not be the cause of any breast tumor.

Breast Lift

Breast lift is the ideal procedure for patients with stretched skin with looseness. The surgeon will create a better shape breast depending on the size of the breast. The procedure may be done in conjunction with breast augmentation either under general anesthesia or local with sedation. The incisions are placed surrounding the areola extending downward until the submammary fold. Its an outpatient procedure and a surgical bra is worn for four weeks.

Breast Reduction

Patients with large pendulous breasts may experience back and neck pain, skin irritation, sensory problems, breathing difficulties and sometimes skeletal deformities. Reduction mamma-plasty is the ideal procedure to resolve these problems. The surgeon reduces the volume of the breast and gives to it the best shape. Incisions are circling the areolar downward and following the infra-mammary crease. Anesthesia is general and a one night stay is recommended. Bra is worn for four weeks.
